Advanced Information Literacy and Web Page Analysis
Objective: Find, evaluate, and select five appropriate Web information
resources, as outlined in the Web Page Evaluation Forms, which answer the
following topic question.
Instructions:
1. Select one of the most important people of the past year who made
a positive contribution to society.
2. Find Web information pages that answer these points:
Write the name of the person you researched here. _______________Why was she/he important, and what were the results of that person's works and deeds, or the things that were changed or affected to make them important?
Web pages must be from different Web sites. Once you have used a Web
site, it cannot be used again. Please note that you need five different
pages, from different types of sources, as follows:
