David Dukes

     

David Dukes was born in 1945 in Corte Madera and attended Redwood with the Class of 1963. At Redwood David played sports. Although he wanted to play baseball, he had to settle for football. After graduating from Redwood David went on to the College of Marin where he planned on majoring in mathematics. But things change, and David ran into Ann Brebner, the head of the drama department at the time. David realized his talent in acting. By the age of 41 he had made it; he had the role of the main character in TV's blockbuster miniseries "Winds of War" (picture below). On October 9, 2000, David Dukes died unexpectedly of a heart attack.
